Service Description
Notary Point provides trained Loan Signing Agents and Notary Publics that are licensed as Title Insurance Producers/Independent contractors. TIPICS are qualified and experienced to assist with your financial documents. A Loan Signing Agent is a trained professional who specializes in facilitating the signing and notarization of various documents related to real estate transactions, particularly mortgage loans. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that all necessary documents are properly signed and notarized by the involved parties during the loan closing process. This includes borrowers, lenders, and any other relevant parties. Loan Signing Agents are well-versed in the specific documents required for different types of loans, and they guide signers through the process, answering questions and ensuring the accurate completion of paperwork. Their attention to detail and knowledge of loan documents help ensure a smooth and legally compliant loan closing experience. According to the Secretary of State, If a notary is presented with financial documents for signature that may eventually be in the issuance of title insurance, collecting escrow funds, or may otherwise perform any service other than the witnessing of a signature, the notary must be licensed as a title insurance producer.
